Fireworks Will No Longer Be Allowed on Fort Hall Reservation

KIFI

FORT HALL, Idaho (KIFI) — Following the Fourth of July holiday, the Fort Hall Business Council has prohibited the use of fireworks on the Fort Hall Reservation.

Tribal Leadership announced the public safety notice on Facebook, stating the measure is "in place to help protect our community, homes, natural resources, and first responders from the risk of wildfire."

The Council also reminds that anyone may be cited if they are found lighting or discharging fireworks on the Fort Hall Reservation.

The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes express their appreciation to all who celebrated the Fourth of July holiday responsibly, and they offer thanks for keeping the Fort Hall Reservation safe!
