Enzi Disappointed In Obama’s Solutions To Jobs
Sen. Mike Enzi says he’s glad President Barack Obama is focusing on the economy and job growth.
But the Wyoming Republican said Thursday that he’s disappointed the president is emphasizing more spending for programs that haven’t worked.
He says Obama needs to support legislation that trains and prepares the nation’s workers for highly skilled jobs in the global economy.
Enzi also says the president should support lower corporate tax rates and reduce regulations on small businesses.
Sen. John Barrasso and Rep. Cynthia Lummis touted solutions offered by the Congressional Western Caucus that would reduce federal regulations and other impediments on energy development as a way to create jobs.
