Pickup Teeters On Guy Wire
A pickup truck ended up teetering on a power pole’s guy wire Wednesday afternoon in Jefferson County. The driver had to be rescued by others because of the danger of it falling off.
Jefferson County deputies said the man was driving east on 4200 East near Krupp Scout Camp east of Rigby and took a corner a bit fast and ended up on the guy wire.
Deputies said there was very little damage to the truck and power pole.
The unnamed driver was rescued by using a scissorlift. He was not injured but a little embarrassed, said officers.
