Courtney Robertson
Talent, intelligence, leadership – all traits that qualitfy a person for the United Dairymen of Idaho Distinguished Student Award. Pocatello High School senior Courtney Robertson embodies those qualities.
The character Courtney Robertson played in Pocatello High School’s production of “Grease” is nothing like the real her, but that’s one of the things she likes about acting.
“My favorite thing about being in this show is being a part of it and getting away from everyday life,” Courtney says. “I really like just escaping and playing a character that definitely is not myself.”
Courtney is involved in many extracurricular activities both during and after school.
“I’ve done dancing for about 15 years, I’ve taken piano lessons, I like to play piano, and I’m really active in national honor society, I’m the president right now,” Courtney says.
Courtney likes having a lot to do. It keeps her moving and motivated. She’s been accepted to I-S-U and wants to get in the nursing program. But she’ll always remember the important lessons she learned in high school.
“Keeping your grades up, keeping a high GPA and just being involved in your school – that’s really one of the most important things,” Courtney says.
