One man hurt in Pocatello shooting incident

Pocatello police are investigating a shooting that occurred at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday.Shots were reported fired on the west side of Pocatello, but officers were unable to locate the precise location.

At 2:30 a.m. Portneuf Medical Center reported a male had walked in with gunshot wounds. Police determined he had stab wounds, but that a gun was involved.

The exact crime scene has not been identified. Detectives said investigation was continuing Thursday morning.
