Bonneville County to recount two precincts
Bonneville County Clerk Ron Longmore has ordered a reconciliation of votes cast at two county precincts.In one case, he says about eight write-in votes were not counted Tuesday. In another precinct, about 100 votes were inadvertently counted twice.
Longmore said Thursday that the discrepancy would not affect the outcome of any races, but would change the bottom line numbers. A formal recount of the two precincts is scheduled for 2 pm Friday in the Bonneville County Elections office.
