Sportsman’s Warehouse gearing-up for grand opening
For the first time, outdoor enthusiasts in Pocatello have baited the regional outdoor-tailored store into the city.
Sportsman’s Warehouse was located in Chubbuck before it closed its doors since it needed to relocate to an area with more high-traffic to drive business back up.
Store Manager Jamie Rietmann said the crew has been working since Wednesday to get the new store completely ready to open its doors back up to the public by August 11.
“We are really excited to open and so we are working as fast and as hard as we can to get opened as soon as we can,” Reitmann said.
The new store is located in the Fred Meyer shopping center on Yellowstone Ave., and Rietmann said he hopes this new location will draw more people into the store.
Although he said the company is starting to downsize its stores, he won’t be closed to receiving applications for those who are looking to work at the new store.
And for those hunting enthusiasts out there, Reitmann said the store will open with its ammo shelves stocked…and yes, even carrying the hard-to-find, elusive .22 ammunition.
