Car wash helps out charities

An Idaho Falls business is forming a club to help out different charities.

Northgate Express Car Wash has launched its I Did It Club.

Here’s how it works: Northgate offers a $2 discount off its top packages and donates that money to its charity of the month.

During October, the business is sponsoring the Rex & Tiffany Redden Foundation, which promotes breast cancer awareness.

Tiffany is a breast cancer survivor and offered her advice for women everywhere.

“If I can encourage you to do one thing–that would be to get your screenings,” she said. “Make your appointments. Get your preventative care. I had no family history of breast cancer – it was not even on my radar. I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 38, and I am proud to say that I’m a survivor at the age of 39.”

Northgate, Right Price Auto and other sponsors are also teaming up to give away a car this holiday season.

The drawing will be held Dec. 24.
