Man arrested for assault with a Knife

Police have arrested a man for assaulting another man with a knife.

Pocatello police said it happened Monday night at 421 W. Quinn at about 8:15 p.m.

Police said the suspect, Mark Bradford Cooper, ran away from the home and they located him a short distance away and arrested him.

Neither the victim nor Cooper sustained life threatening injuries, police said.

Neighbors who witnessed the attack said the attack was due to animal cruelty accusations. Cooper is charged with Aggravated Battery.

The victim will be coming home today.

Police are still investigating.
