Seaton trial date set for February
Aaron Seaton appeared in front of a judge Tuesday for one felony count of rape to a victim under the age of 16.
The jury trial set for Feb. 4th is now Feb. 3rd, this is to give the trial ample time.
According to court documents, Keith A. Strawn took his 14 year-old daughter out of state so she could marry Aaron Seaton. Strawn also let the two live together.
Strawn is charged with two felony counts of injury to a child and one felony count of willfully withholding or concealing knowledge of a felony from a peace officer, judge, or jury.
Strawn will have a pre-trial conference on Feb. 23rd.
Both Seaton and Strawn were charged in September, Seaton pleaded not-guilty on Oct. 13.
If Seaton is found guilty of felony rape he could face life in prison and a $50,000 or both.
