Elderly woman accidentally crashes into Geraldine’s Bakery

An elderly woman accidentally drove her car through the entrance of Geraldine’s Bakery in Chubbuck Tuesday morning.

Police tell Local News 8 that an elderly woman was pulling into the parking lot and accidentally hit the gas instead of the brakes for her vehicle. The car crashed through the entrance of the bakery. There were people in the store at the time, but no one was injured in the incident.

The bakery is shut down at this time when the accident is cleaned up and the entrance repaired. The owner of the bakery doesn’t have an estimate of when they will reopen.
