Heart attack causes accident in Yellowstone

A man died from a fatal heart attack Friday causing him to hit a van in Yellowstone National Park.

Park officials said the accident happened near Shoshone Point, about 8 miles west of West Thumb Junction.

Those in the van suffered minor injuries, officials said.

The accident closed down the road between West Thumb to Old Faithful for several hours Friday afternoon. It is now open again.

The closure caused significant traffic delays during the busy tourist season.
