“Visiting Angels” welcomes new Pocatello location

About 30 new jobs are coming to Pocatello. “Visiting Angels” has opened a new office in the Gate City.

“Visiting Angels” offers non-medical services for seniors, such as transportation to appointments and other places, help with meals, and other services.

The Idaho Falls branch opened in January 2015 and the owners said it has grown incredibly fast. So the company felt expansion was necessary.

Mike Beckstead, marketing vice president for “Visiting Angels,” said the company saw a need for its types of services in Pocatello. He said they bring something a little bit different to the area.

“We do things a little different,” Beckstead said. “We do one client to one angel. We do call our caregivers angels and we do one-on-one and try to keep that one client to one angel. So they develop their relationship and they actually take on a bond that most companies don’t do.”

“Visiting Angels” is currently holding interviews for caregivers. It hopes to begin hiring very soon.
