Man arrested for attempted vehicle burglary

Idaho Falls Police arrested 19-year-old Ricardo R. Herrera Delira for burglary Saturday morning after he was seen trying to break into a car.

Herrera Delira of Rigby was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.

According to reports, officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Maplewood Drive for a vehicle burglary in progress around 6:45 a.m. Officers located the suspect, later identified as Herrera Delira, in the 900 block of East First Street.

Herrera Delira was also arrested for resisting arrest for refusing to provide his name and a Jefferson County Warrant.
