Greater I.F. Chamber of Commerce CEO leaves to join EITC
Michelle Holt is leaving her position as CEO of the Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce to begin working as the new Workforce Development & Community Education Manager at Eastern Idaho Technical College.
Holt will replace Ken Erickson who is retiring after 39 plus years at EITC. She will officially start her new position on February 7, 2017.
Michelle has been the CEO for the Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce and the Idaho Falls Convention and Visitors Bureau since July 2013. She served as Executive Director for Lost Rivers Economic Development representing Butte and South Custer counties before her Chamber role.
Ken Erickson commented on his retirement and replacement. “I’m excited to know that Michelle Holt will be filling my position. She will take the College’s Workforce Training division to a new level. We are fortunate that the Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce and EITC will be working together to make this community even better. I’ve been honored to witness so many extraordinary changes at our College.”
