Truck accident cause power outage to 1,800 Idaho Power customers

Idaho Power is reporting a power outage for parts of American Falls, Aberdeen, Pingree and Stirling Monday night.

About 1,800 customers are without power. The cause of the outages is an accident involving a power pole. Crews are working to make repairs. Idaho Power hopes to have power restored in 2-3 hours.

Correction: It was earlier reported that power was out to 18,000 customers that number is 1,800.
