First Alert Evening Forecast, Feb. 1

Saw a few snow showers today with more on the way.

Tonight, partly to mostly cloudy skies with light to moderate breezes. We’ll see a few snow showers, but those will mainly stick to the higher elevations. Lows will be in the teens and 20’s.

Thursday, mostly cloudy to completely overcast with scattered snow showers. We might see a bit of rain along I-86, but most of the activity will be snow in the higher elevations, particularly in the central mountains and near the ID/WY state line. Daytime highs will top out in the upper 20’s to mid-30’s.

Friday, mostly overcast with a few scattered snow showers in the highlands with rain/snow mix in the valleys. Highs will be in the 20’s and 30’s with breezy conditions.

Saturday, mostly overcast with more scattered rain/snow showers. Snow levels will rise as high as 6500 feet as highs will be in the 30’s and low 40’s. Count on several inches of new snow in the mountains with some decent rain totals in the valleys. Unfortunately with the rain falling on top of snow, low lying areas could see some flooding.
