Two Israeli soldiers killed by friendly fire
JERUSALEM (AP) — Two Israeli soldiers have been killed by friendly fire while on a security patrol near a military base in the Jordan Valley. In a statement early Thursday, the military said they were misidentified and mistakenly killed overnight by fellow soldiers. The military said the circumstances are under review and expressed condolences to the bereaved families. Prime Minister Naftali Bennett offered his condolences on what he said was a “very sad morning.”
