Idaho Falls man arrested after pointing a gun at a woman

Idaho Falls Police have arrested a man for aggravated assault after he pointed a gun at a woman during an argument.

20-year-old Kayden G. McVey was arrested Friday by Idaho Falls Police for aggravated assault and booked in the Bonneville County Jail.

According to police reports, officers responded to the 800 block of 9th Street for a report of a domestic disturbance. Officers contacted both parties and the victim told police she and McVey had been arguing all day when McVey got into his car, pulled out of the driveway and rolled down his passenger side window and pointed a 40 caliber handgun at her.

McVey was found in possession of a handgun.
