Man arrested for delivery after early morning police report

A Vancouver, Washington man has been arrested by Idaho Falls Police for felony possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver after police received reports that he was selling methamphetamine early in the morning on 1st Street.

37-year-old Ashton B. Wielang was also arrested for fraudulent possession of a financial transaction card early Monday morning. Wielang was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.

According to police reports, officers received information Wielang was selling Methamphetamine in the 400 block of East 1st Street. Officers made contact with him around 6 a.m. and found he was attempting to sell Methamphetamine. He was also found in possession of drug paraphernalia.

While being placed under arrest, Wielang was found to be fraudulently in possession of another person’s bank card.
