Two people taken to hospital after single-vehicle rollover crash

Two people were taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center Tuesday night after a single-vehicle rollover crash on US 26.

According to Idaho State Police, Kelly J. Cholick, 62 from Alpine, WY was driving east in a 2015 Toyota Rav 4 on the highway when he drove across the center line, off the north side of the road and through field down a steep embankment. The vehicle rolled and stopped on its top.

His passenger, Netsume Cholick and Kelly both wore seatbelts. Idaho State Police says an ambulance took them to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Representatives from EIRMC tells us Kelly Cholick is in fair condition.

Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office and Bonneville County Emergency Medical Services helped Idaho State Police at the scene.
