New ISU Adult Success Center opens in Blackfoot

A new Idaho State University adult success center opened in Blackfoot on Wednesday.

This free resource center is located on Pacific Avenue. This is a transitional option for people who want to continue their education before heading to colleges or universities. People can complete their GED, and enroll in language, reading, writing and math classes to help reach educational or career goals.

“We work with students at whatever level they come in at — whether it’s really basic, whatever point they stopped with formal education or if they just need to brush up a few skills — get their confidence up before they enroll in college. Anywhere along that way, we have classes.,” said program director Amy Christensen.

Other locations are in Pocatello on the ISU campus, American Falls and Soda Springs.
