Are you ready for fall? Here is what you can expect at one popular corn maze and pumpkin patch

The first day of fall is next Friday and that means people are getting pumpkin patches and corn mazes ready for families to visit.

Reporter Erin O’Shaughnessy checked out the Wild Adventure Corn Maze in Blackfoot to get a sneak peak of what you can expect when they open next week.

Richard Johnson said that despite the hot summer, which can be hard on pumpkins, they still have the biggest pumpkin patch in Eastern Idaho.

“We got the little mini pumpkins all the way to these nice big pumpkins you can take home, carve up and have fun,” said Johnson.

The pumpkin patch is not the only thing Johnson is proud of. Johnson used the corn maze this year to thank first responders.

“When you think about it, when they leave home their families might not know if they are coming back. To us we appreciate what these people do and so it is one of those things as a way of saying thank you. We appreciate ya and we are here to support ya. We got your back,” said Johnson.

And if you need a few more things to add to your fall bucket list, Johnson said they have a lot of activities to keep you busy.

“We got a mini straw maze. We got a corn cannon. We got a toddler town with a big sandbox with Tonka Toys in it. We got slides for the little kids. We got bounce houses. We got a pedal track for the little kids. New this year we got bubble balls and you sit there and bounce around and get your buddy and see who can stay standing and who gets knocked down,” commented Johnson.

If that is still not enough, the Wild Adventure Corn Maze also has a zipline to try out in between picking out pumpkins and checking out the corn maze.

Johnson said it is important for them to be involved in the community. One way they do that is by helping schools and clubs fundraise if they help out with the corn maze. For information on how your group can get involved, contact the Wild Adventure Corn Maze here.
