Attempted armed robbery at Pocatello gas station

Pocatello police responded to an attempted armed robbery call at the Kicks 66 air pumps at 616 E. Clark in Pocatello around 10 p.m. Tuesday.

According to police, the suspect is described as an African American male, approximately 5’10”, wearing a light colored hoodie, a black jacket and black pants.

Officers report the victim was putting air in his tire when the suspect approached on foot, and the man displayed a gun in his waistband and had his hand on the gun but did not remove it from his waistband.

The victim reports the man said, “Give me what you got,” and then he fled on a bicycle without getting anything from the victim.

Police are reviewing video surveillance and additional businesses in the area will be contacted.
