Police arrest man for burglary, forgery of checks and grand theft

The Pocatello Police Department reports 24-year-old Cody Shayne Weber was arrested Wednesday after officers made contact and found him in possession of stolen checks he had attempted to pass.

Back on September 12, detectives conducted an investigation that identified Weber as the man who fraudulently attempted to pass checks that were stolen from a storage unit burglary earlier in the year.

Weber was taken into custody and has been charged with the burglary, forgery of the checks and grand theft by possession of the stolen checks.
