Report: Melaleuca and others contribute to anti-Mayor Rebecca Casper campaign

Campaign finance reports came out this morning in Idaho Falls.

The ‘Businesses for Growth’ campaign that is sponsoring the anti-Mayor Rebecca Casper billboards has raised $15,000.

You can view our previous story on the billboards HERE. They don’t promote a candidate. They just say ‘Anybody but Casper’ who is the incumbent mayor.

KIFI/KIDK learned today of the $15,000 raised, most comes from companies tied to Doyle Beck and Bryan Smith.

Specifically, of the 9 contributors, the first five are tied to Doyle Beck for $5,000. The company C4 Hundred business filing in Montana is below. It is owned by Beck.
Melaleuca Company contributed about $5,000 to the anti-Mayor Rebecca Casper campaign in radio and billboard advertising. Frank Vandersloot owns Riverbend Communications, which is Classy 97, Z103 and East Idaho News.
