Two rushed to hospital after rollover on I-15

Idaho State Police reports a silver Nissan truck was heading south on Interstate 15 near mile marker 145 south of Hamer when the driver, 74-year-old Jeffrey Watkins of Lolo, Montana lost control and hit a guardrail around 3:52 p.m Friday.

ISP said the truck rolled in the ravine between the lanes on I-15.

ISP reports ground ambulance transported Watkins to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, and air ambulance transported 73-year-old passenger Bonnie Watkins of Lolo, Montana, to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Both Jeffrey and Bonnie Watkins were wearing seatbelts, according to officials.

This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
