Britt Raybould to run for Idaho House
Fourth generation Idahoan Britt Raybould announced Thursday she is running for the position of state representative as a Republican in District 34 (Seat B).
Raybould is a small business owner and CFO for Raybould Brothers Farms.
She is also a Sugar-Salem High School, Boise State University and Westminster College graduate.
“I love Idaho and my community, and I want our great state to remain a place that we’re proud to call home,” she said. “It starts with making smart choices about how we educate our students, supporting efforts to grow our economy and ensuring our state government operates efficiently.”
Raybould will kick off her campaign this week with one-on-one conversations and cottage meetings with interested groups.
“For the next 118 days, I want to hear what matters most to the folks I hope to represent,” said Raybould. “Every vote matters in our state and local elections, and I want to answer questions and make sure I’ve done everything within my power to earn those votes by election day on May 15.”
When asked why she wants to serve as state representative, Raybould said, “It begins and ends with family. We want all our family and friends to feel like they can earn a living and raise their families in Idaho. To support that goal, I’ll lead the effort to invest in Idaho’s future to make sure that the next generation feels like they have the option to stay in this great state.”
