Idaho to insurers: Give us plans that don’t follow Obamacare
Idaho is revealing a plan that will allow health insurance companies to sell cheap policies that ditch key provisions of the Affordable Care Act.
It’s believed to be the first state to take such a step without prior federal approval.

He says he wants to make health coverage available to more people who have to buy their own policies.
Health care experts say the move is legally dubious, a concern supported by internal records obtained by The Associated Press.
One health policy consultant says even if the Trump administration lets Idaho move forward, a consumer group is likely to sue.
