Man takes knife into convenience store
Blackfoot police responded to an incident at The Short Stop convenience store at 985 S. Broadway in Blackfoot Sunday evening.
Police say a man entered the store carrying a knife and threatening to hurt himself. He locked himself in the restroom.
Two officers spent nearly an hour talking him out. He eventually came out of the room and was taken to Bingham Memorial Hospital for evaluation.
