Fire reported at Idaho Falls Taco Bell

Idaho Falls firefighters were called to the Taco Bell restaurant at 1000 E. 17th at around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Employees of the business evacuated as fire crews arrived. There are no reports of any injuries.

The Idaho Falls Fire Department said smoke was seen coming from vents. There were no reports of active fire.

Officials said a HVAC unit caused the smoke in the building.

Taco Bell will be closed until the unit is repaired.
