Child-centered Urgent Care opening in Idaho Falls
A new clinic opening in Idaho Falls is set to bridge to gap between the pediatric office and the emergency department. The system is designed to work hand in hand with the child’s regular doctor, submitting all information to their primary care provider following the check up.
Just 4 Kids Urgent Care is geared at creating a safe, fun and distracting environment just for kids. The clinic hopes to assist children past standard office hours with their pediatric needs, including nitrous oxide sedation, numbing creams, medication and a fast, child-designed x-ray machine to limit the intake of radiation.
The clinic staff are all trained with child life skills and pediatric backgrounds.
Pediatrician and owner, Aaron Gardner explained, “We’ll see the colds and the belly aches and the belly pain and the sore throats, and the ear infections and things like that, as well as the more serious injuries: the lacerations, the cuts the bruises, the broken bones, things like that as well.”
The clinic also created a mobile and web check-in system prior to the appointment to hold a spot in line to save the hassle of waiting in the lobby.
An open house will be on March 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the public to tour the facility at 3320 S. 25 th E.
The clinic opens March 26.
