One person hurt in interstate crash

An Oklahoma driver was hospitalized after a crash on Interstate 15 at milepost 106.5 near Shelley at around 8:57 p.m. Tuesday.

Idaho State Police said Alli Russo,19, of Claremore, Ok. was driving a 2000 Honda Civic northbound on I-15. Russo was driving behind a 1997 Kenworth dump truck being driven by Mario Hill, 58, of Menan. ISP reports said Russon collided with the truck then crossed both lanes of travel and came to rest in the median.

Russo was transported to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center for treatment. Hill was not seriously hurt.

The right lane of traffic was blocked for about three hours while ISP investigated the crash.
