Dog wearing seat belt tweet goes viral

You normally see dogs riding in cars with their head peeking out the window and their tail wagging, but this pooch is now Twitter famous for sitting in his seat wearing a seat belt like any passenger should.

This photo went viral Tuesday after Twitter user @Lyss121 posted the picture of her sister’s boyfriend riding in the car with a dog.

The photo caption read “safety first.”

She said the photo was too good to keep to herself.

The Twitter user said the viral photo even trended in Ireland.

By Friday, the photo had been liked more than 1,027,459 times and rewteeted 330,330 times.
