Looking for more morning sunshine and afternoon thunderstorms

We’re locked into the same weather pattern all the way into next week. An area of low pressure over the Great Basin, with sunshine in the morning and afternoon thunderstorms.
Some good news, the thunderstorm risk looks to be a little lower for Saturday and Sunday. Another area of low pressure develops over the West and will assume the same location as our current low, with more of the same weather into next weekend.

Saturday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a high near 65°. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Sunday: A 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Partly sunny, with a high into the lower 70’s.

Monday: Partly to mostly cloudy with highs into the mid 70’s and afternoon thunderstorms.
