2 men arrested in Rexburg on Montana felony warrants
Bozeman, Montana police are questioning two men arrested in Rexburg early Monday.
Rexburg Police say Chad Carkeek Jackson, 20, and Hunter Schofield Cruz, 20, were questioned at a Rexburg gas station shortly after 2 a.m. Monday.
The two were arrested on misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
Jackson was also wanted on a $250,000 felony warrant for assault with a weapon in Bozeman. Cruz was wanted on a $100,000 felony warrant for obstructing justice.
According to police, Jackson was suspect in the shooting of another man in the leg with a gun while he lay in bed.
Bozeman police were traveling to Rexburg Monday for further questioning of the two suspects.
