2 arrested in connection to Chubbuck shooting

The Chubbuck Police Department reports two individuals have been arrested in connection to a shooting that occurred Sunday night in Chubbuck.

An arrest warrant was issued for Zachary Guzman, 25, of Pocatello for Felony Principal to Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm at an Occupied Dwelling.

Guzman was arrested Wednesday evening in Bingham County after a pursuit into their jurisdiction.

An arrest warrant was also issued for Thomas Kelly, 23, of Pocatello for Felony Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm at an Occupied Dwelling.

Kelly was also arrested Wednesday evening in Pocatello. Chubbuck police would like to specifically thank the Pocatello Police Department, Idaho State Police, Bannock County Sheriff’s Office, Bingham County Sheriff’s Office, Fort Hall Police and the Bannock County Prosecutor’s Office for their help.

All of the agencies listed played a key role in the arrest of these two individuals who have been charged with a violent felony in our community.
