Ball Ventures and Ahlquist to form new development firm

Former gubernatorial candidate Tommy Ahlquist announced Friday his development company will team up with Idaho Falls-based Ball Ventures.

The two firms will join to create a new Treasure Valley-based company to be called BVA, LLC. The initials stand for Ball Ventures Ahlquist).

The company will focus on commercial real estate and investment. Ahlquist will serve as President and CEO of the new company.

“I am very grateful for the amazing partnership with the Gardner family and I am proud of the projects we have completed,” said Ahlquist. “Gardner Company will continue to be one of the premier development and property management companies in Idaho and we will continue to look for ways to work together on future projects. I am thrilled with this new opportunity and look forward to joining forces with Ball Ventures.”

Ball Ventures CEO Cortney Liddiard said the Idaho Falls company has had collaborations with Ahlquist over the past several years. “We are excited to join together in this new opportunity,” said Liddiard. “We share a common vision of working with great people to positively impact the communities in which we do business.”
