Pedestrian treated after being struck by car
A pedestrian struck by a car in Rexburg Saturday suffered a moderate concussion and multiple cuts, scrapes and bruises.
Rexburg Police said they were called to the intersection of Main and College Avenue. The pedestrian was conscious and alert but had a cut to the head and minor scrapes and cuts.
One witness said the pedestrian was airborne after being struck by a tan Honda Accord traveling east on Main Street.
The victim was transported to Madison Memorial Hospital for treatment. The driver was not identified. Police said a citation was pending as the investigation continued.
