95-year-old woman wins 13 blue ribbons at fair

95-year-old Bonnie Jones continued her long streak of winning blue ribbons at the fair. She took home 13 blue ribbons for her baked goods this year, including bread and cookies.

Bonnie has entered her creations into the fair for 70 years and won blue ribbons every year —467 in all.

“I love the competition, I love the people,” Bonnie said.

Bonnie says her secret to success is using top quality ingredients.

“You don’t put cheap stuff in and expect good stuff to come out,” Bonnie said.

Bonnie expects to keep entering items for years to come.
