1 hospitalized after 3 vehicle crash

Idaho Falls Police report one person was transported to the hospital after a three-vehicle accident near the intersection of Lomax Street and Wabash Avenue.

Police say the wreck involved a pickup truck with a travel trailer, a Ford Explorer and a Ford Expedition around 12:15 p.m.

Officials report the pickup was heading west on Lomax and the Explorer pull out in front of the pickup from Wabash Ave. The Explorer tried to avoid the pickup but crashed and then collided into the Expedition.

The pickup truck then jackknife in front of a home.

Police say three ambulances were called to the scene.

The crash is under investigation.
