Brush fire on US 26
UPDATE 4:30 p.m. Both lanes of US 26 are now open.
UPDATE 4:15 p.m. One lane of US 26 traffic is shut down at this time. Officials are letting one direction go at a time.
Crews are mopping up hotspots.
The fire burned mostly brush and some grain stubble, and crews do not know the total acreage of the fire.
Officials say the cause is unknown.

Idaho State Police and Bonneville County are on scene of a brush fire on US 26 near mile marker 359.
The fire is near Birch Creek Road, about four miles east of Ririe.
Officials ask you avoid the area if possible.
