Improving Air Quality and Windy

Southwesterly winds from an area of low pressure over Oregon and Washington will lead to windy conditions today, which will help to scour out the smoke across the region. As this trough approaches the Gem State, we’ll continue a cooling trend today and into tomorrow, with highs in the seventies. However, most of the moisture with this system will stay to our north.

Wednesday: Highs in the mid to upper 70’s and windy. Partly sunny. Scattered afternoon thunderstorms for Central Idaho and areas near Montana.

Thursday: Isolated showers and mostly cloudy. Highs in the low to mid 70’s.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 75°. Breezy.

Saturday: Breezy, sunny, with a high into the upper 70’s.
