Man arrested after leading police on chase, hiding inside Bonneville Humane Society
A 38-year-old Ucon man is now behind bars after hiding from police inside the Bonneville Humane Society after leading them on a chase.
Police say just before 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to Lake and I Street where they found a man and woman yelling and throwing things at each other.
The couple then walked to D Street where police found the woman with blood on her face.
When they asked to speak with the man standing nearby, he ran away.
Police chased him down Constitution, across the railroad tracks and set-up a perimeter around the Bonneville Humane Society building after the man ran and hid inside. After a thorough search, Juan Marques-Nevarez was arrested for resisting and obstructing an officer.
