Idaho Department of Corrections resource fair

The Idaho Department of Corrections is holding a resource fair set for this afternoon, Thursday, September 13. This is the first resources fair organized in Pocatello. There will be 49 local vendors and agencies attending the fair. The event is geared towards assisting individuals with a criminal history adjust back into the community.

Treatment programs for substance abuse and mental health, clothing options as well as housing providers will offer their assistance to those who have recently been released from prison. This event is also available to the public for those who have family members currently in the prison system.

There will be public speakers and a ceremony throughout the afternoon. The Clarion Inn in Pocatello will be hosting the event from 1 to 7 p.m. and is open to the public.
