Shelley School District cancels classes Monday and Tuesday

No school Monday Feb. 4 and Tuesday Feb. 5 in the Shelley School District due to illness. School will resume Wed. Feb 6.

The administration writes on the district’s Facebook page:

All Jazz basketball games are cancelled during the closure.

All school buildings within the Shelley Joint School District No. 60 will be closed starting Saturday, February 2, 2019 through Tuesday, February 5, 2019 due to widespread illness.

The Boys Basketball game against Skyline is still on for tonight (2/1/2019) at 7:30 p.m.The Hobbs Middle School Boys Basketball game away at Blackfoot scheduled for Tuesday (2/5/2019) at 4:30 p.m. is still on.

All other activities etc. are cancelled at this time. If there are essential athletic practices during this time, attendance is voluntary and students who miss will not be penalized.

We hope this will allow time for all to get healthy. School will resume on Wednesday, February 6, 2019.
