Weekend snow showers turning to rain by the workweek
Another Pacific system moves in from the northwest this weekend. We’ll see periods of snow Saturday through Monday, along with some gusty winds. This is a large, slow moving system which will start to really strengthen Sunday and Monday with accumulating snowfall.
Saturday: A 40 percent chance of snow. Cloudy, with a high into the upper 20’s. Winds 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Sunday: A 70 percent chance of snow. Cloudy, with a high into the mid 30’s. Areas of blowing snow, winds 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
Monday: Snow showers with highs into the lower 30’s.
Tuesday: Rain and snow showers with highs into the lower 40’s.
