Here’s how to report a pothole

Spring has sprung and so have the potholes.

As a result of the freezing and thawing temperatures and wet winter, the City of Idaho Falls Street Division has turned their attention from snow removal to pothole repair.

Although the crews drive the roadways frequently to check on road conditions, they may inadvertently miss a pothole.

To report a pothole or other street issue inside the city of Idaho Falls limits, click HERE.

The goal is to get the damage repaired within 24 hours of receiving the report. If the problem is hazardous to the public, please contact the Street Division immediately at (208) 612-8490 as the website form may not be reviewed until the next regular business day.

Although Broadway and Yellowstone/Northgate Mile run through the city of Idaho Falls, they are highways and therefore maintained by the Idaho Transportation Department.

To report issues with Yellowstone/Northgate Mile and Broadway, call ITD at (208) 745-7781.

To report a street issue outside of city limits (Bonneville County), contact Bonneville County Road & Bridge at (208) 529-1290.
