Police say charges believed to be pending against two juveniles found with stolen tricycle
After a stolen tricycle was found on May 7, a representative for the Pocatello Police Department said “it is believed there are pending charges” against two juveniles.
According to Lt. Eric Anderson, “an aunt” called the department Tuesday evening after seeing “her two juvenile nephews” playing with the tricycle on the 1100 block of McKinley Ave.
The specially made Rifton adaptive tricycle belongs to Avery Price, a Pocatello girl with anencephaly.
The tricycle was stolen from the front yard of the Meadowbrook house she was staying at with her grandmother on May 1.
Although no one has been charged yet, Anderson said both juveniles could be charged with possession of stolen property, which could be felony due to the value of the tricycle.
