Prosecutor: Wyoming man admits abducting, abusing girl
Prosecutors say a man has admitted abducting and abusing a young girl while she was playing outside in Wyoming.
Thirty-two-year-old Joshua Hicks is being held on $500,000 bail.
Hicks faces one count each of aggravated kidnapping, second-degree sexual abuse of a minor and third-degree sexual-abuse of a minor. Kidnapping is punishable by up to life in prison.
The Casper Star-Tribune reports the alleged victim was no older than 5. Prosecutors say in court documents Hicks admitted forcing the girl into his truck in Casper, masturbating in front of her and making her touch him before returning her to her apartment complex Wednesday.
Prosecutors say Hicks told investigators he had done the same to other children twice.
Police arrested Hicks Thursday. Hicks hasn’t had an opportunity to enter a plea.
